A tutorial provides structured tuition on a topic. The organizer plans a timetable of presentations, discussions and exercises to convey their knowledge of the topic to the audience. As such, tutorials are organized by people experienced in the topic, and attended by people fairly new to it.

We encourage tutorials that provide as much interaction as possible with the audience. As a result, tutorials at XPDay are very “hands-on”, and attendees are expected to participate actively.
