Poster

Posters are a way to publicize ideas, questions, requests for help or other things of interest to people at the conference.

A poster is simply a large sheet of paper (usually A1 size) which succinctly presents the topic. Posters are made available throughout the conference and most people see the poster while outside sessions, e.g. during coffee breaks. The goal of a poster is not to display every detail of the topic, but to stimulate other conference attendees to engage with the poster presenter. As such, the poster presenter needs to spend as much time as possible outside of sessions near their poster. Many poster presenters also provide a way (e.g. contact sheets) for delegates to signal their interest if the presenter isn’t there.
